Privacy Processing Policy

The Company is committed to adhering to international data protection standards, including the United States' COPPA, Canada's PIPEDA, the EU's GDPR, and South Korea's Personal Information Protection Act. This Privacy Policy informs users about the management of their personal information provided to the AOi service.

1. Collection of Personal Information

  • Collected Items:
    • For registration: Nickname, phone number, email address, date of birth, age, gender, photo, social media IDs, and interests.
    • Additional information: Phone number, occupation, school.
    • Upon user consent: Location data and contact information.
    • User-generated content: Chat messages, articles, photos, videos, etc.
    • Automatically collected: Service usage history, access logs, cookies, device ID/IMEI, IP address, misuse history, ADID (GAID, IDFA, IDFV etc.)
    • For refund requests: Subscription or in-app purchase details (items purchased, amount, date, etc.), usage details (subscription usage history, item usage history, etc.), and reason for the refund request.
    • Information collected when using the Gacha system: Item acquisition and usage history, currency usage history, mileage usage history, etc.
  • Collection Methods:
    • Through user consent during registration on our website or app.
    • Separate consent for promotions and events.
    • Voluntary user provision in response to inquiries.
    • Automatically during service usage.
    • Through information collection tools.

3. Retention and Use of Personal Information

Personal information is retained and used until its processing purpose is fulfilled, then promptly destroyed, except as required by law or for post-membership legal inquiries.

  • There is no outsourcing of personal information processing without consent.
  • When necessary, processing may be entrusted under strict confidentiality agreements.

5. Destruction of Personal Information

10. User Rights and Customer Service

11. Protecting the Privacy of Minors

  • We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we learn that a child under the age of 13 has provided us with personal information, we will promptly delete that information.

12. Jurisdiction

The laws of the Republic of Korea govern any lawsuit between the Company and users. Lawsuits shall be filed with the competent court as per the Civil Procedure Act.
